Izzy joined the Bay-Lake team in December of 2022. As an Environmental Planner, her primary duties involve environmental reviews, resiliency planning for rural and urban landscapes, and coordinating with many diverse environmental organizations on projects and plans within the region.

Izzy has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and Urban Ecology from the University of Utah. In the past several years, she has worked as an intern and researcher, planning and managing several environmental projects and facilitating community engagement related to sustainability and social justice. In 2022, Izzy was awarded the Marriott Library Honors Thesis Award for her thesis, "Impact of 'Landscape Lab' Green Infrastructure on Red Butte Creek Hydrologic Patterns".
