Bay-Lake RPC has just finalized two new plans that have been in the works throughout the past year! The Lakeshore Coastal Recreation Study and the Ahnapee River Water Trail Plan were both funded by the Wisconsin Coastal Management Program. Sheboygan MPO SATP Update

After several months of effort, the update to the Year 2045 Sheboygan Area Transportation Plan (SATP) was approved in late April. The entire plan can be viewed on the Sheboygan MPO website.

This month we welcomed Harry Graham as the newest planner to the Bay-Lake RPC team. Harry recently completed his Masters in Community Planning from Auburn University in Alabama. He has also completed a Masters in Anthropology and gained experience as a planning intern with the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham.

This month we welcomed Sydney Swan as the newest planner to the Bay-Lake RPC team. Sydney is a 2016 graduate of UWSP with a double major in Urban Planning and Regional Land Use Planning. Before joining the Commission, she worked with Washington County as a Planning and Parks Analyst.
Community Partnership Award

Interns have always been a vital part of the Commission and the work accomplished here. This month, Bay-Lake RPC was the recipient of the UWGB Public & Environmental Affairs (PEA) 2019 Community Partnership Award. This award recognized an organization in the community that has shown continuous dedication to the growth and development of the department's students. As a Commission, we are honored to have received this award, and look forward to coninuing this partnership for years to come!

Bay-Lake RPC has microloan funding available, up to $15,000 at 0% interest, for businesses impacted by flooding or other disasters in the Bay-Lake region, which includes Brown, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Marinette, Manitowoc, Oconoto, and Sheboygan C
