Year 2050 Sheboygan Area Transportation Plan (SATP)
The Sheboygan Area Transportation Plan (SATP) is the main example of long-range transportation planning for the Sheboygan MPO. Long-range planning activities are those that plan for at least 20 years into the future. The SATP currently has a planning horizon of 2050, which makes it a long-range plan. Many of the technical activities that support SATP development are also considered long-range transportation activities. These activities include: travel demand forecast modeling inputs, air quality conformity analyses, aligning the SATP with USDOT performance management rules, and working with WisDOT on the development of statewide transportation plans.
