Urbanized Area Boundary
The Sheboygan MPO Urbanized Area Boundary (UAB) is updated every 10 years as part of the decennial census. The State of Wisconsin may adjust Sheboygan’s UAB to accommodate anticipated growth and development of the urban area during the next 10 years. During these adjustment periods, Wisconsin Department of Transportation staff work with MPO staff to review, revise, and approve the Urbanized Area and Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA) for Sheboygan.
