Shoreline Metro Transit
Development Plan (TDP)
The Shoreline Metro Transit Development Plan (TDP) serves as a strategic framework to guide the planning and growth of the transit system over a five-year period. It supports the efficient allocation of capital and operational funding while addressing the increasing demand for transit services. While not a required part of the metropolitan transportation planning process, Sheboygan MPO staff has assisted Shoreline Metro with the completion of several Transit Development Plans (TDPs) over the course of the MPO’s existence, with MPO staff currently helping Shoreline Metro complete its fifth TDP.
Shoreline Metro Transit Development Plan 2026-2030
Currently, Sheboygan MPO staff are assisting Shoreline Metro with its TDP Update. Shoreline Metro received funding from WisDOT Section 5304 grant to complete this TDP and the local match was provided by City of Sheboygan. The TDP is scheduled to be completed by Spring of 2026.
