The Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission has a dedicated and experienced staff providing:

  • Community planning (such as comprehensive planning, zoning, housing studies, site design, and hazard planning)
  • Assistance with Economic Development (such as finding funding solutions, grant writing and administration, Brownfields planning, and EMSI Developer assistance)
  • Planning for the Environment (such as coastal planning, outdoor recreation planning, invasive species management, and sewer service area reviews)
  • Mapping and Visualization (such as land use data, field data collection and management, plat book development, and the Gold Shovel program)
  • Transportation planning (including the regional transportation program and the Sheboygan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO))
